On January 26, Davis Malm attorney Laurence M. Johnson participated on a panel at the Lorman Education Services seminar “Document Retention and Destruction.” The seminar provided an overview of the “need-to-know” regulations for retaining and destroying business records and information, and best practices for implementing and updating a records management program that provides a safe harbor. The program covered what records to store and when, why and how to destroy them, and the consequences of failing to preserve evidence material to anticipated litigation.

This seminar was appropriate for attorneys, controllers, accountants, CFOs, tax managers and officers, presidents, vice presidents, human resources managers, compliance officers, records managers, and anyone else who needs to be up-to-date with the latest and most critical business related issues.
