Before becoming an attorney, Dan was a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa, and a musician. Every once in a while, he still takes his fretless Fender jazz bass off the shelf to make some noise. Dan’s current outside-the-office obsession is marathon running. He is a four-star member of the Marathon Maniacs (earned by running two marathons in two days) and is nearing completion of his 10-year quest to run a marathon in every state. Dan has served as a board member and president of the Sumner Hill / Jamaica Plain neighborhood association, a member of the American Heart Association / Lawyers Have Heart 5K Executive Leadership Committee, and a volunteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. He’s also organized a number of local running events. He can eat a full large cheese pizza all by himself.
